Privacy policy
What maze.app collects when you request access, why we collect it, who handles it and how to have it deleted.

Who we are
Maze is a product of Ampli Technologies, Inc., a Florida corporation (“Ampli”, “we” or “us”). Ampli runs maze.app and decides how the personal data on this page is used.
This policy covers maze.app and its access request form. The Maze app has its own terms and privacy notice for accounts.
For questions or requests about your data, write to privacy@maze.app.
What we collect
When you request access, the form sends us:
- Your name and email, which we need to reply.
- How you’re joining, as an individual or for a kind of firm, and if you add them, your firm’s name and a range for the capital you’d put to work.
- What you’d like your agents to do, if you tell us.
- The page you sent the form from.
Formspree, the service that receives the form, also sees your IP address and browser details when you send it, and uses them to filter spam. When you visit maze.app, our web host receives your IP address and the pages you request, as with any website.
maze.app loads its fonts and its own code from its own server. Google Analytics also loads, and it records the pages you open. Google receives your IP address, browser details and those page views. We don’t run advertising tags.
How we use it
- To reply to your request, open your access and follow up about Maze. We rely on your request and on our legitimate interest in answering it.
- To keep the form free of spam. We rely on our legitimate interests.
- To see which pages people open, so we can tell how the site is used. We rely on our legitimate interest in running maze.app.
We don’t sell your personal data, share it for advertising, or use it to make automated decisions about you.
Who handles it
We share your data only with the companies that run parts of the service for us, and only for that work:
- Formspree, which receives and stores the form’s submissions. Formspree hosts its service with Amazon Web Services in the United States.
- Our web host, which serves maze.app.
- Our email provider, which we use to reply to you.
- Google, through Google Analytics, which records page views. Google processes that data in the United States.
We would also disclose data if the law required it, or to a company that takes over Maze, which would then be bound by this policy.
Where it’s stored
We are based in the United States. Formspree stores submissions there, and Google Analytics processes page views there. If you’re in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, your data goes to the United States. Formspree and Google rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses for that transfer.
How long we keep it
We keep your request for as long as we’re in touch about Maze. If you ask us to remove you, we delete your details within 30 days, except anything the law requires us to keep. Our web host keeps its request logs for a short time under its own policy. Google keeps page-view data for the retention period set on our Analytics property.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to limit or stop using it, or ask for it in a format you can take elsewhere. Write to privacy@maze.app from the address you used, and we’ll reply within 30 days.
If you’re in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, you can also complain to your data protection authority. If you live in a US state with a privacy law, such as California, you have similar rights, and we handle those requests the same way. We won’t treat you differently for using any of these rights.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies on maze.app so it can tell a return visit from a new one. Those cookies can last up to two years. The site sets no advertising cookies.
Children
Maze is for adults. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you think someone under 18 sent us a request, write to us and we’ll delete their details.
Security
maze.app and the form use HTTPS. Formspree encrypts the submissions it stores, and only the people on our team who handle access requests can see them.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page. If a change affects how we use data you already gave us, we’ll email you before it takes effect.
